Invited by the World Leisure Organization, Dr. Lijun Zhou from the Department of Physical Education attended the XII World Leisure Congress held in Rimini, Italy from Sept.30th to Oct. 3rd. Chuchu Luo, Dr. Lijun Zhou’s master degree student, attended the “Future Leaders Program” held by the World Leisure Organization.
Dr Lijun Zhou served as a sub-session chair and presided over the “Leisure Time Physical Activity” session and gave a lecture titled “Leisure: Definition, Patterns and Constraints-A Study of University Students in China”. Cooperating with Professor Jeffrey Godbey, Dr Lijun Zhou gave a lecture titled “A Research of World Leisure City” and answered questions and responded to comments from the audience. As a member of the board of directors, he took part in the World Leisure Organization Board of Directors Conference.
Chuchu Luo attended the “Future Leaders Program” together with 14 other students from 7 different countries and areas around the world. During the congress, future leaders showed their research through poster presentations and got the chance to communicate with Professor Jeffrey Godbey and the Board of Directors of World Leisure Organization.
