March 24-25, 2014, the first International forum on University Social Responsibility was held by Seoul National University. Dean and Professor Xu Xiaozhou gave a key presentation on ‘Meanings and Challenges of Social Responsibility in Higher Education in the Asia-Pacific region.’
During the forum activities, Dean Jun Taewon, Vice Dean Kim Chanjong, Director Woo Yongje and Jeong Dongwook, editor of SSCI journal《Asia Pacific Education Review》in the College of Education warmly welcomed Dean Xu Xiaozhou. Both sides discussed expansion of student and faculty exchanges and academic cooperation. Both sides also reached cooperation intentions for joint training, student exchanges, and mutual visitations by faculties. They also agreed to hold the China and Korean education communication conference around January, 2015.
